Paliouri
Distance from Thessaloniki 125 km.On the south end of the Kassandra peninsula, a beautiful traditional settlement amidst pines, built about 3 km from the seashore and a 120 m above sea level. The local architecture of the old houses, which date from the 19th century BC, is impressive. The visitor can see a few, well preserved, sculptures and other findings from the ancient town Theramvos, which existed here, in the area, where the village is today. Cape Kanastreo is around 6 km from the village. There are many little, quiet beaches around for the visitors to enjoy swimming and water sports.

The village is busy in the summer, but still is one of the more peaceful villages of Kassandra.

Traditional festival on August 15 (Virgin Mary) and the April 23 (Agios Georgios – Saint George).
