It is a beautiful traditional coastal resort on the green east coast of Kassandra. Important findings here indicate that the place has been inhabited already in the prehistoric years. Impressive ruins of an archaic town (7 th century BC), probably the town of Neapolis , and a cemetery (5 th century BC) have come to light on the new road, leading east to the village Kassandrino and west to Kassandria .

The village today is a fully developed tourist resort, with a wonderful beach and numerous alternatives for the visitors.
