Parga is one of the most picturesque and cosmopolitan places in northwestern Greece. It is an exceptional seaside traditional settlement, which is obviously influenced by the architecture of the Ionian Islands and is built amphitheatrically on the outskirts of the Venetian Castle. It has a population of about 2.000 people and is at an altitude of 139m (456ft.). Most of the beaches of the area are organized and offer equipment for most water sports and games. In many people's opinion the beach of Parga is the most beautiful part of the Ionian Sea. Today, the town of Parga has significantly developed and is one of the most renowned tourist destinations.
