The area is completely surrounded by lush green hills and mountains, covered in pine trees and other various types. In the distance you can see marble qaurries. It is just about 2 Kilometres outside of Thassos Town and 19 kilometres from Skala Prinos in a quiet and remote cove.
This is a beautiful beach where you will enjoy the day.
The water is clean and normally calm, although it does see strong waves once in a while. It is pure sand, absolutely no rocks, and it remains quite shallow for approximately 50 meters. It is perfect for children of all ages and it also has a place where one may dive into the water at a safe depth from an easy-to-reach spot along the dock, which is bordered by large pieces of Thassos-white marble.
